| Date Posted: Feb 7, 2012 We are looking for a Broadcast Engineer – Eastern Region to serve as the primary technical contact for work relating to the broadcast encoding equipment for Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Based in Montreal, this role requires an individual who is fluently bilingual in French and English and has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical (Engineering) role in a radio and/or television broadcast environment. This role is an hourly part-time contract position. What You Will Be Doing: • Consult with broadcasters to assess their technical requirements as they relate to the configuring and provisioning of BBM’s encoding equipment • Document the configuration details for the equipment • Assist in the verification and testing of encoding equipment at the broadcast facilities • Provide verification of proper encoding through spot checks of the broadcast signal and/or communication with the broadcast customers • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical assistance to new and existing broadcast customers. • Co-ordinate as required with other regional engineers for national broadcast customers • .... |
