| Brake Press Set-Up Operator Job Type: Temp-Perm Job Location: Mississauga ON Job Description: Brake Press Operator REPORTS TO: Brake Press Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: Brake press Operators are primarily responsible for the production of parts and assemblies that meet customer requirements in quality and output in a safe fashion. RESPONSIBILITIES Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company Must ensure machine safety rules are followed (light curtains, guarding, etc.) Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided Assure that 1 st off/1 st Part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements Bend parts according to provided drawings and specifications Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required Set up Machines to meet customer requirements in output and quality Interface with Quality and Engineering Maintain proper housekeeping standards Must notify lead hand and/or supervisors of all disfunctional and/or unsafe equipment or work practices All other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers COMPETENCIES (Job Kn.... |
