| Bilingual Publications Support Assistant - Desktop publishing Ottawa - Ontario Job Description Our Government Client has a requirement for a Bilingual Publications Support Assistant (Desktop Publishing) A bilingual, secret-cleared Publications Support Assistant is required to handle extra workload at the Canada Gazette. The individual will be required to join the Publications support team and perform the following duties. DUTIES •Provide layout and formatting for the Canada Gazette, parts I, II and III using MS Word •Convert Word documents to PDF using Adobe Acrobat and to HTML using Dreamweaver •Make corrections to the documents to conform to the Canada Gazette guidelines •Identify priorities, problems, issues, concerns and addresses them to the Publications Coordinator •Be involved in various tasks related to the modernization project Evaluate differences between Word and InDesign while formatting the Gazette The office is a SCENT FREE environment OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Enhanced Security Clearance Bilingual requirements (English and French) Minimum 5 years in Desktop Publishing or Graphics Experience using MS Word, Adobe and Dreamweaver and Adobe InDesign I.... |
