JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Director supports the work of the Office of the Controller and the Department with
a primary focus on financial accounting and reporting. Reporting to the Controller, the Associate
Director is responsible for all accounting functions of the University and manages the overall
development, implementation and administration of financial accounting and related internal
control policies and procedures. Due to the high level of responsibility in the development of
university policy, implementation, administration and interpretation, the decisions of the
incumbent influence and impact the entire university. The incumbent is a key resource providing
financial management and reporting advice and support to all Business Units across the
University.
As a member of the management team, the Associate Director participates in medium and
long term strategic planning for the Department, including preparation of staff.... |
