| Posting Title Assistant Bridges & Structure Supervisor Department Engineering Position Profile Job Summary: ? B&S Supervisors are responsible for the construction and maintenance of bridges, culverts, and miscellaneous structures in accordance with sound engineering practices and approved railway standards, specifications, procedures and budget, and within the CN operating plan. Tasks: ? Plan, organize, direct and supervise the maintenance, repair, partial or complete reconstruction of railway structures in accordance with sound engineering practices. ? Plan, organize, schedule and direct the work programs ? Ensure completion of work programs by ensuring availability of resources materials & equipment where & when required ? Optimize capital expenditures ? Direct and supervise engineering employees and contractors Duties: ? Prioritize and manage multiple projects to maximize asset utilization, control costs, and ensure compliance to safe working procedures and practices through efficiency testing and safety audits/blitzes. ? Prepare capital program requirements, analyze and interpret bridge condition and inspection reports to identify conditions requiring actions to meet Engineerin.... |
