| Assistant, Procurement Location: Head Office (Montreal, Quebec) Store Location: Job Code: 718 # of openings: 1 Description We are currently looking for a: Assistant, Procurement Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Assistant, Procurement is responsible for corporate travel arrangements/bookings along with providing general administrative support to the procurement department. Primary Responsibilities: Arrange and coordinate all travel requests for HO and Sales; Track travel budget and ensure most cost effective solutions; Negotiate corporate rates with new suppliers and coordinate direct billing accounts when possible; Process related invoicing as required; Perform various clerical duties within the procurement department including filing, responding to general enquiries both internally as well as from external vendors and following up with suppliers; Assist in searching, analyzing different projects; Meet with various suppliers, prepare recommendations and present them to internal customers; Assist in various other projects assigned to the department, as needed Qualifications and competencies: College diploma; Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role; with at lea.... |
