| Title Titre Appraiser City Ville Calgary Province AB Description Position Description Reporting to the Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the review and correction of estimates from auto body repair facilities partnered with Wawanesa Insurance. They are also responsible for monitoring of supplements and determining the practicality of repair as opposed to payment of fair market value. Primary duties and responsibilities: Represent the company in a respectful and professional manner, applying the principal of good faith in all dealings. Proven ability to explain complex repair procedures to customers, shops and staff that include painting and refinishing, sheet metal, frame and mechanical operations. Determines the value of the vehicles and if it is cost effective to repair or replace. Detailed knowledge and experience in dealing with mechanical components such as suspension, motor, transmission, structural, interior and electrical issues. Review estimates provided from partnered companies and approve or reject the estimate for reinspection as necessary. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
