| Application Architect For our client, an established Vancouver based e-commerce company, we are currently looking for an Application Architect on a permanent basis. You will work as an enabler of software development projects for a cross-functional Agile sprint team by creating new & innovative software applications that solve the problems and challenges associated with our high transaction, high availability application services. You will interface with senior management and product owners to create and manage business solutions, and present those to the technical teams for execution. Furthermore, responsibilities will include sponsorship of architectural initiatives with a focus on product platform stability, performance and speed of development. You will also take a leadership role in other aspects of the software development lifecycle including construction, peer reviews, documentation, testing and deployment. The successful applicant is viewed as a mentor and a leader capable of building business and technical cases and sponsoring projects through design, development and execution.
