| POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting support and reconciliation of equity, hedge fund and security borrowing lending business with the Global Equity Finance Operations. The Analyst will be expected to take an active role in ensuring financial data integrity is maintained, and reporting deadlines are met. The incumbent is expected to take an active role in ensuring that accounting records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and policies of the bank and regulators. The incumbent is expected to assist Managers and Senior Management in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the accounting records and reducing operational risks, and developing appropriate process and procedures to overcome system unavailability and deficiencies. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performing daily accounting operations and ensuring all accounting activities are completed within time frame and internal controls are followed up. Ensuring manual entries for recording borrowing and lending activities are accurately and timely prepared and that daily and monthly reconciliation of the outstanding rebate fee and as well as dividends ar.... |
