| All Stores - Bakery Department Manager WORK DESCRIPTION The Department Manager is responsible for ensuring that all objectives and goals of the department and store, as communicated by the Store Manager, are met and/or exceeded. The Department Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of specific aspects of the department including ordering, merchandising, labour scheduling and customer service. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy vision, mission, and the Farm Boy Way. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure Farm Boy?s readiness-for-customers standards are maintained at all times 2. Manage department?s key financial results to maintain a contribution margin equal to or exceeding big budget and weekly forecast 3. Ensure the accurate receipt of all incoming department products, inspecting the items for freshness and quality, and reconcile products received with packing slips, purchase orders, invoices, etc. 4.
