| Job Title: Administrative Assistant Job ID: 7994 Location: Yellowknife Department FIN Finance & Administration Return to Previous Page Position Summary Administrative Assistant Directorate / Headquarters Department of Finance Yellowknife, NT Reporting directly to the Director, Financial Services the Administrative Assistant provides confidential administrative and secretarial support to ensure effective administrative operation of the Financial Services Division. This position is the first point of contact for the Directors?? office with the public, and is relied upon to ensure that all correspondences prepared by the division comply with GNWT standards. Applicants should have proven knowledge of office and administrative procedures, knowledge of basis records management policies, procedures including records disposition, standards and classification systems, and the ability to use MS Operating Systems, MS Office, Internet and Email applications. The applicant should have proven organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to provide a high level of service to both the employer and the public.
