The Administrative Assistant functions as primary point of contact for the office, handling the flow of work related to the department thus freeing the Director to focus on goals and objectives of the department. The incumbent may also provide additional support to individuals, organization-wide committees/task forces/foundations as assigned. On an as needed basis, the Administrative Assistant may also provide general administrative coverage in the absence of other assistants reporting within the portfolio. .
