| Administrative Assistant - Medical Imaging Casual On Call Competition #2010-010 Casual On Call This position is currently at the L03 level with a pay range of $22.08 to $27.94 per hour Reporting to the Manager of Medical Imaging and working with the Medical Image team, patients, hospital departments, Physicians, Radiologists, Nursing Stations and Medical Clinic's, the incumbent provides and co-ordinates clinical and administrative services in the department, including: being the initial contact for clients/patients seeking Medical Imaging services; computerized schedule of inpatient, outpatient, Specialists Clinic and Emergency Department appointments; initiating, updating, maintaining and distributing medical records and films; receiving and acting on all inquiries via telephone, fax, email and in person. The incumbent acts in a courteous, professional manner to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the hospital and community members. The successful candidate will have the following: Knowledge of computerized scheduling; Knowledge of Medical Terminology (anatomy, physiology and pathology); Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS); Knowledge of Medical I.... |
