| JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant (Health & Wellness and EAP) DEPARTMENT: Human Resources STATUS: 1.0 FTE; Permanent COMPETITION NO.: 12030-E SALARY INFORMATION: The salary range is $35,209 to $55,653 per annum (Administrative, Phase 1). The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience. PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support and acts as an ambassador for Health and Wellness and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Exemplary customer service and knowledge of all areas is the norm in providing a triage function for the EAP and Health and Wellness, applying knowledge of the organization, policies and procedures in responding to inquiries as well as referring them appropriately. Liaising and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, students, the public and external agencies is a key component to success. Confidentiality must be practiced at all times to ensure respect for client privacy. This position forms part of the Health and Wellness Resource Centre, which provides services with respect to health management, sick leave, disability claims administration, workers compensation claims, and on site counsel.... |
