| Activity & Marketing Aide Activation/Recreation Services ON - Greater Toronto Area , Heritage Glen Community for Seniors Job Type: Part-Time Date Posted: January 10, 2012 This role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, motivated leader with experience in sales and marketing and a recreation/activation background. Knowledge of the surrounding area and communities is required. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of two years of related experience and excellent computer skills. Experience with seniors and knowledge of associated services is an asset. This position requires working part-time flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Drawing on their extraordinary customer-service and sales training, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Planning and managing daily activity programs/entertainment/special events to meet the residents’ interests and needs; Identifying and assessing the residents’ needs to develop fulfilling activities; Encouraging resident participation in programs; Creating monthly activity calendars in a timely manner; Participating in the development, promotion, and implem.... |
