Located in the Corporate Services Division of the Nunavut Housing Corporation Directorate
Office in Iqaluit and under the supervision of the Senior Finance Officer, the Accounts
Receivable Clerk will be responsible for collecting all revenue due to the Nunavut Housing
Corporation in an accurate and timely manner. The incumbent will achieve this objective through
maintaining all accounts receivable, reconciliation of corporate bank accounts, monitoring
contractor payments as well as preparing general ledger account summaries in accordance with
the Financial Administration Manual and related policies, procedures, directives and regulations.
The incumbent will also be expected to provide administrative support to the Corporate Service
Division.
The ideal candidate will have a grade 12 Diploma and a minimum of two years working
experience in handling Accounts Receivables. Also required for this position is working
knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows applications, as well as
knowledge of accounting principles, practices, internal control and a fa.... |
