| Description: One of our downtown clients is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk on a Contract to Direct Hire basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following: • Invoice customers; this will require understanding the client’s needs and requirements and the use of invoicing systems • Able to work under pressure as required during peak periods and the ability to work both independently and closely with others • Demonstrate good judgement and pay close attention to detail • Maintain A/R sub-ledgers • Perform all collection calls • Excellent telephone/email manner for dealing with customers and/or suppliers • Perform account and month-end receivables reconciliations • Weekly review of aged receivables • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, for the Controller or designated manager as requested • Maintain customer files • Assist the controller in other areas of accounting and administration as required Required Skills: • Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel • Familiarity with Canadian GAAP and general accounting processes Salary Range: $18 - $22 Job Number: MIJ Contact: Michelle .... |
