| Accounting Technician (11-105) Looking to combine adventure and accounting services? This is for you! Summary : A leader in its field, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is an assurance, taxation and consulting and recovery and reorganization firm operating throughout Quebec. Our Montr al office is seeking an accounting technician who will work in its office in downtown Montr al and Nunavik (between ten and fifteen weeks per year). The incumbent will support the Kuujjuaq office in the following functions: Carry out monthly accounting tasks for various clients, including account closuring entries and reconciliations while meeting the budgets and deadlines. Perform banking reconciliation, account analyses and identify variances. Prepare payroll, DAS, CSST, GST and QST government reports, etc. Train clients on the accounting software and other accounting topics Prepare the year-end tax forms, T4 and T5. Communicate with government authorities to follow up on accounts. May need to prepare certain documents and worksheets as part of review and notice to reader engagements for small enterprises. May be called on to participate in preparing individual tax returns and perform follow-ups. Answer.... |
