| Title Accounting Assistant (Head Office Location) Position Overview As an important member of the Accounting team, in this entry level position you will: Prepare and reconcile store bank accounts to the general ledger, with subsequent investigation and follow-up with stores to get resolution Analyze and file commodity taxes accurately and timely to appropriate provincial and federal governing bodies. Maintain, analyze, and reconcile accounts payables and accounts receivables, ensuring best relations with vendors, customers and store associates. Process cheque runs accurately and efficiently, disbursing payment to the appropriate store, associate or vendor. Administer and investigate exception reporting on a monthly basis. Prepare and file GST, PST, Tire Tax in an accurate and timely fashion. Have the opportunity to participate in special projects and other duties.
