| Title Accountant Job ID 107 Position Summary Reporting to the Operations Manager of P&SS and the Operational Controller, the Cost Accountant oversees the accounting and payroll functions at the Acheson location. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare / review all project month end job cost reports and Forecast estimates. Supervise / prepare / review invoicing for all projects from supplied documentation in accordance with contract requirements. Supervise / prepare / review equipment department rental agreements and invoicing of company owned assets. Review / prepare intra and inter company cost distribution for leases, trucking and repairs. Review / post AP batches. Assist procurement with coding of PO ?s review of open commitments and open receipts. Assist equipment / procurement with equipment rental invoicing for coding tracking. Ad hoc reporting for estimating new job, forecasts, etc. Data mining old jobs for historical burn rates on fuel, consumables and small tools to determine margin on estimate and new work. Research Provincial Sales Tax rates, liase with HR and Payroll on tax and WCB rates for estimating. Research tax treaties for foreign supplied parts subcontracts. Ad hoc r.... |
