| Job Title: Accountant - Junior City: Saint John State/Province: NB Description: Irving Oil is a regional refining and marketing company serving customers in Eastern Canada and New England. We are currently recruiting for a Jr. Accountant to join our Irving Oil Team Duties include (but are not limited to): Sub-ledger data manager Invoice copier Accounting and report preparer Transaction processing and entries in FA sub-ledger (additions, deletions, use tax etc.) Manage clearing accounts Record journal entries in general ledger based on inputs from Senior Accountants FA Close FA sub-ledger Perform R&M analysis and process related MJEs Process disposals and record gain/loss entries Liaise with AP to obtain FA invoices Provide inputs to Senior Accountant FA (Projects) Perform depreciation run and sanity checks Prepare reconciliations Prepare Continuity schedules Support FA team as required Requirements: Community College/ University Degree 1-2 years of work experience in accounting Data entry skills Working knowledge of IOL ?s FA acc.... |
