| Aboriginal Advisor/Liaison - Mackenzie Campus The Aboriginal Advisor/Liaison position will contribute to the maintenance and development of productive and positive programs, services, and working relationships with Aboriginal communities within the Mackenzie area as they relate to the College of New Caledonia, Mackenzie campus. QUALIFICATIONS: ??? Four years post-secondary preferred, with two years required ??? Previous experience, minimum (3 years) working collaboratively with a variety of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal groups and organizations ??? In-depth understanding of Aboriginal culture, issues, and social structure with firsthand knowledge of local First nations organizations ??? Self-declared leadership vision and understanding of how to motivate others ??? Ability to communicate in Tse???Khene (Sekani) and/or understand the Tse???Khene language will be considered an asset ??? Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with individuals and groups ??? Strong conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation skills ???
