To gather all paper work from dispatch that you will have to use for the day ie: ( log book, bill of lading, manifest, way bills, and run sheets ). Ensure you have a 2way radio and 407 transponder if required by dispatch or any special instruction from dispatch. Delivering freight to Customers according to a set manifest or as directed by dispatch and to maintain all appropriate paper work. Carry out freight pick ups at Customers as directed by dispatch and to maintain all appropriate paper work. Responsible to off load all deliveries and to load all pick ups on to their trailer. To keep in contact with dispatch at all times and to report into dispatch by 2way every hour and a h.... |
