| ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT - DEPARTMENT OF ADVANCEMENT Useful Links Printer-friendly version Date of Posting: Jan 10 2012 ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF ADVANCEMENT FULL-TIME TERM POSITION Competition Number: 03E12 The UPEI Department of Advancement is a team of 12 staff responsible for a wide range of functions including raising more than $5 million per annum in support of student success, through major gifts, awards and scholarships, endowment funds, capital campaigns, UPEI Annual Fund campaign, and other appeals. The department is also responsible for alumni relations; maintaining a constituent database of alumni, friends and donors; prospect research; planned giving; donor relations; and donor recognition. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department is seeking a skilled individual to lead the major gifts program in this fast-paced department. This is an ideal role for a proactive self-starter, exceptional communicator, skilled writer, and organized project manager who has experience and demonstrated success in working with people in a donor-centered manner.
