| ACADEMIC PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR Rural Medical Education Network (Labrador-Grenfell Region) Position is located in Goose Bay, NL (One-Year Contractual Position) DUTIES The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Physician Lead in this region, and liaise with the Physician Recruiter and Regional Health Authority; as well as work closely with the Academic Coordinator of the Rural Medical Education Network (RMEN) and other administrative personnel, the Postgraduate Medical Education Office (PGME) and Undergraduate Medical Education Office (UGME) with the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Duties include: coordinating activities relevant to the placements of students at the rural/regional sites; assisting in the completion of evaluations for rotations for the region; providing logistical support for students/trainees and teachers during their clinical experience; providing orientation to students and trainees; securing suitable IT access and equipment; maintaining schedules for faculty, preceptor and student/resident activity as it relates to placements and accommodations; providing support to the Regional Medical Education Committee; develo.... |
