| Job Classification 2126-Food Services Attendant I RPT - Regular Part Time FTE: 0.29 # of openings: 1 Date Opened Date Closed January 24, 2012 January 31, 2012 Salary Range $15.33 to $16.72 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement Department EGH - Nutrition and Food Services, Tray Assembly Hours Of Work Days/Evenings (0645 - 1445 and 1630 - 2000 hours; works 2 of 4 weekends; 7 shifts/4 weeks) Duties/ Qualifications/ Other Information RESPONSIBILITIES The Food Service Attendant I is responsible for assembling and serving meals to patients/residents, staff and visitors; setting up and delivering catering requirements for internal and external clientele; preparation, portioning and labeling of nourishments, salads, sandwiches, desserts and other items required for meal service. The Attendant I is responsible for the cleanliness of the work areas and equipment, performs dishroom duties and disassembles trays. Follows safe and sanitary practices when handling food and supplies. Provides excellent customer service to all customers/patients/residents by communicating and serving customers efficiently and providing support to other team members to complete departmental tasks.
