| (2) Registered Nurses - Addiction Services POSITION SCOPE: Reporting to the Manager, Residential Addiction Services, the Registered Nurseworks to full scope of practice as an independent practitioner within a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team, and is responsible for a full range of systems-informed primary care treatment. Responsibilities include admissions decisions, assessment, treatment planning, withdrawal management, counseling, team leadership, and discharge planning and for ensuring optimal levels of client care in programming related to withdrawal management and residential treatment programming. The Registered Nurse carries out all responsibilities and activities in congruence with the mission, policies, goals and objectives and organizational structure of Addiction Services and Annapolis Valley Health and competently represents Addiction Services and Annapolis Valley Health in the discharge of all responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma RN or Baccalaureate degree in nursing Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia Experience working in a team environment Ability to work within Microsoft Office Suite Ability to use general office .... |
